Kent Price is our former Chief Human Resources Officer. With his extensive global experience, he develops innovative strategies for talent development with a strong client focus, while improving business performance by aligning people strategy with organizational goals. Having been a previous CCL client, Kent deeply understands the value of leadership development and the results we deliver.
Kent has worked in a wide range of HR leadership positions for global companies. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for United Guaranty, the world’s largest provider of private mortgage insurance and a wholly owned subsidiary of AIG. In addition to his executive role at United Guaranty, Kent led an HR team supporting American International Group (AIG) businesses in the Southeast U.S. During his tenure, Kent helped lead United Guaranty from a #4 position in the market to the market leader and helped drive best-in-class employee survey results and industry-low attrition.
Prior to that, Kent spent more than a decade with American Express, serving in several Vice President-level HR roles. Earlier in his career, he held a number of HR director positions at Whirlpool and HR positions at Domino Sugar and Bradlees Department Stores. Through these various opportunities, Kent has developed expertise in many facets of human resources, including organization design and effectiveness, talent management, leadership development, labor relations, talent acquisitions, mergers and acquisitions, and HR generalist/business partner roles.
Kent holds a BA from the University of Delaware and an MA in Human Resource Development from George Mason University. He has been the recipient of two ASTD Excellence in Practice awards and is SPHR certified through the Society of Human Resource Management. Kent is also a certified coach through ICF.
Kent has been very actively involved in the communities where he has lived, and he currently serves as the HR chair for the board of the United Way of Greater Greensboro.
