Amplify™

Only 21% of nonprofit leaders feel confident of their abilities. Invest in professional development for nonprofit leaders with Amplify.

A unique approach to nonprofit professional development, Amplify offers nonprofit executives a chance to build long-term leadership capabilities and access proven nonprofit program evaluation training.

Developed in partnership with leading foundations, this online nonprofit leadership training is based on over 50 years of research and experience. Through a highly flexible virtual learning experience, Amplify participants build leadership skills and effectiveness, guided by a trained moderator who provides feedback, supports ongoing peer dialogue, and helps create a lasting network.

“Nonprofit leaders work tirelessly to improve the lives of individuals and communities … [yet] they’re often not able to quantify their work, systematically analyze the data they collect, or identify specific ways their organizations need to improve. Evaluating one’s work also requires commitment from leadership and an openness to hearing ways their organization can improve. That’s why we believe in capacity-building, especially Amplify, because this nonprofit professional development program will better equip leaders to evaluate and improve their work and ultimately deliver on their missions.”

Proven Professional Development for Nonprofit Leaders

Originally developed and run by the Edna G. McConnell Clark Foundation (EMCF), this nonprofit leadership training program focused on teaching youth-serving nonprofit leaders to use data to drive better outcomes. When EMCF decided to sunset, they selected CCL as their trusted partner to create the next iteration of Amplify, infusing this professional development for nonprofit leaders with additional leadership development content as well as nonprofit program evaluation training.

“We have a network of 188 nonprofit organizations across the United States. We’re always looking at ways to help develop them and we have our own institute to try to elevate the military veteran ecosystem, and I would encourage all of the organizations to apply for this program … I think it was incredibly beneficial.”

“I learned that self-awareness, openness, and agility are essential tools to effectively lead a team. I learned that as leaders, our direct thoughts, actions, and behaviors impact the teams we lead and that program evaluation is crucial to fulfillment of the mission of the organization.”
