Bradley Shumaker is our Executive Vice President, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer, and Treasurer. He’s responsible for the overall financial health of the organization. His responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and all aspects of the treasury functions for our worldwide operations. He is also responsible for contract negotiations and investment returns, and serves as our in-house legal adviser. In addition to his finance responsibilities, Brad oversees our strategy and planning process, as well as our facilities management personnel.
Brad has over 25 years of broad-based business and finance experience in a variety of industries. His past experience includes managing mergers and acquisitions, implementing business process improvements, raising debt and equity financing through both public and private sectors, creating joint venture and partnership arrangements, and establishing international operations in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Before joining CCL in 1997, Brad was Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of a computer software company, where he was responsible for managing the company’s accounting, finance, administration, human resources, and information technology departments as well as the company’s software training and consulting division. Prior to that, he worked for 11 years as an auditor and consultant with PriceWaterhouse Coopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand), where his client base included numerous Fortune 500 companies. He was the recipient of the 1994 Coopers & Lybrand SEC Fellowship Award.
Brad holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has served on the boards of several professional, nonprofit/civic, and for-profit organizations. Brad is a member of the AICPA and NCACPA professional societies.
